Retrô Déco

O termo Art Déco vem da Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels que aconteceu em Paris, em 1925.

A arte, principalmente arquitetônica, que prevaleceu entre as duas guerras mundiais do século XX, se espalhou para a joalheria com características marcantes em linhas geométricas simples ou elaboradas e cores contrastantes das gemas, sobressaindo aquelas nunca antes usadas até então pelo seu pouco valor tais como ônix, turquesa, jade, lápis-lazúli, e misturadas com as tradicionais de grande valor, diamante, esmeralda, safira e rubi.

Foi pensada a simplicidade de linhas nestes braceletes e brincos na lembrança da Art Déco.

Retrô Déco

The term Art Déco comes from the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels that occurred in Paris in 1925.

The art, mainly architectonic, that predominated between the two great world wars of the XX century, spread to the jewelry with strong characteristics in simple or complex geometric lines and contrasted colors of the gems, jutting out of those never used until then because of their low market value, such as onyx, turquoise, jade, lapis lazuli, and they were mixed with the traditional ones of great value such as diamond, emerald, sapphire and ruby.

It was thought of the lines’ simplicity for these bracelets end earrings in remembrance of Art Déco.
